WAYGFT? What Are You Grateful For Today? A Dawn’s Heart Initiative

Effective October 7, 2026

Submission guidelines

Share only what you want a moderator to read. Publication is a separate choice from keeping a gratitude private.

What may be submitted

Text only. This version does not accept photographs. Write a gratitude that is yours to share.

  • A specific, honest thank-you is enough.
  • You may publish with a first name and city, a first name, initials, or anonymously.
  • Email is optional and is never shown on the wall.

What moderators will decline or edit

  • Someone else’s private medical, financial, or contact information.
  • Phone numbers, email addresses, or street addresses in the public text.
  • Harassment, hate, sexual content, threats, or content involving a child.
  • Advertising, fundraising pitches, and deceptive claims.
  • Content that asks for help the programs cannot currently provide, presented as if help were already open.

How publication works

When submissions are open, choosing Continue to Share opens the publication form. Nothing is public at that moment. While submissions are closed, Preview how sharing works opens a non-submitting preview. If submissions are open and you give publication permission, the entry is stored as pending.

A moderator previews the public card, may write a cleaned public version, and then approves, rejects, or archives it. Featured is a quiet editor’s choice, not a popularity ranking. There are no likes, comments, or public profiles.

Keep Private Here never enters this process.

Permission

The publication checkbox and the contact checkbox are separate. You can be published without agreeing to be contacted. You can remain anonymous.

People under 13 may not submit. People under 18 should have a parent or guardian’s permission.

Removal

Send a removal or correction request by email to the moderation team led by George S. Bernardich. The same team receives the request and deletes the submission record within 10 business days.

Send the request to happy@waygft.com. Opting out of contact removes the email address only. A contact form may be added later.
